What kind of amp would be perfect for my car speakers?

What kind of amp do I need for my car that will have 4 speakers and 2 subs?

    You have 2 main choices. You can use a 5 channel amplifier (4channels for the doors, and one channel for the sub) OR you can use two seperate amplifiers (one 4 channel for the door speakers and one mono or single channel for the subs) The 5 channel is nice because you only need one amplifier for everything, the only drawback is that the subwoofer channel is normally only 400 watts to be split between the subs. Most subs today are 500-1000watts each. It is kinda hard to say without knowing how much power is required by the subwoofers.

get a mono amp for the subs and a 2 channel amp for the speakers. thats the setup in my cars

if the subs r low power u can use a 5channel. i would go with a 4channel for speakers and a mono for the subs
