How can I do a Copy-Protected CD?

How to burn a cd so that it can play in car's cd player?

  • I made two CD's using iTunes yesterday, both on a "CD-Recordable Media" CD. Everything worked out fine, except that when I went to play the CD in my car, it would not play. I know it's not the CD player because other CD's, both burned CD's and real ones, play fine. I would really want to make a working mix, and as I'm obviously not "tech-savvy", your help would be really appreciated! Thanks!

  • Answer:

Must be burned as Audio Disc (must be closed session to work with most cd players). Which will be limited by how long the music are, like 80 mins.

It could possibly be the format you are burning... Some decks only played regular burned disc, which you can usually fit about 15 songs on a CD. Some decks can play mp3 or data disc which can hold around 200 or so songs... And then some decks can play data disc with acc files... Which if you have converted your acc files on itunes, then that could be why the deck is not playing them. If you go to the settings in the burning section of itunes, I would try a different format of burning...
