Infinity Car Audio System?

What is the infinity system in my car mean?

• on the stereo it says infinity system i know its a type of brand for speakers and stereos but i want to know if the stock speakers are also infinity without actually taking out the panels to check.. the car was bought in 2003 and its a mitsubishi eclipse spyder 2.4 liter and i wanted to pump up the sound system but i know infinity is a good brand but if the stock speakers are cheapy and give out a 50 watts rms and most infinity speaker are 100 rms or more and i just need to know the specs at least can anyone help? or give a brand that is affordable and better than infinity speakers?

  The infinity emblem means that there is an factory amp installed in your car. It simply an upgraded system from the standard. The specs on those factory spks are going to hard to find. But most brand name aftermarket spks will out perform them in every way. If you want to stay with infinity then get the Kappa series.
