How can I hook my phone up to my car to play music?

Can I hook up my guitar into a car to play music like with the VW car and guitar?

• I know i can put an adapter and put an amp in the car but i was wondering if i could just hook it up to the car maby with another adapter to hear the music out of the speakers.

  To hook up a guitar to your car speakers get an FM frequency transmitter(its used for ipod connection to play it on the selected FM frequency). You will also need a 3/8 inch female to 1/4 inch male adapter. Option 2: If you have an after market deck with an AUX function, you can take your AUX RCA's and buy the RCA to 1/4 inch adapter and a 1/4 inch female to 3/8 inch male and hook it up that way. Option 3: Get a DC/AC converter and put an extra guitar amp in your ride. Option 3 probably isn't the answer you were looking for so opt. 2 will sound better but there is alot of variables.
