What door speakers should I get?

Do I need to get some higher watt door speakers.?

• I have a 200 watt jvc kd-s37 stereo in my car and the cars front doors will only fit 4x6" speakers. i installed a pair of 4x6 140 watt 4 ohm 3-way* and a few months later the passenger one has blown it's low and it's mid*. now all i get is treble* from the front right speaker. can i resolve this by upping the wattage handling on the 4x6 front speakers. like maybe getting some 4x6 200 or 300 watt 4 ohm? are 3 ways recommended more then two ways?

  if its running off of the head unit then its probably not from being overpowered but from distortion. you probably had the volume too high, not all cd players can send a clean signal with the volume all the way up and also if you had too much bass going to them.
