Which in dash cd player is better?

Please help I really need to find this part for my In-Dash Pioneer CD-Player ?!!?

  • I purchased a DEH-P5900IB Pioneer CD-Player and I installed it on my car. 5 days after that I totaled my car and had to take everything out b4 insurance company takes the car away. My friend had a CD player in his old Toyota and wanted to install it on his Honda so I did him a favor, took the CD player out and put it in his new Accord but he did not have the metal box that is used to keep the CD-player stable, so he used mine. Now I bought a new car and want to put my CD-player in it but I dont have that metal box anymore. B4 I go ahead and ask him if I could have it back and go through the hassle of taking it apart I was wondering if there was a place I could possibly buy it from, he even offered to pay for it, so its all good, please help!!

    try ebay or www.pioneerelectronics.com, usually u can find original parts list an get one straight from them

Go to your local car stereo specialty store/installer shop. They should be able give you one for only a few bucks.

Sound like you need a radio "cage" Just stop buy some car stereo shops and ask the installers if they have any extras around, most shops have a box that they put extras in ( for customers who lost their es) Some shops may give it for free or charge you for it. If you are asking an installer and he gives you one for free drop him a 10, that's what it is worth. If you can not find one order one from Pioneer. I would think around 25-30 plus shipping. When you go to a shop bring your radio with you so they can see if they have the right one.
