What is a mono watt amp?

I have a hifonics 1000.1D watt mono amp and wondering what subs can hold it at 1 ohm.?

  • The amp gives out the cleanest sound i've ever heard but i dont want to overpower the subs. So any suggestions as to what I should get?

    Hmm. An amp can tweak the quality of sound, but how the sub is built is a larger concern in the sound quality department. None of what you have up there is SQ equipment. It's simply 'budget bass'.
