How to hook up police lights in the grill of a truck?

How do I hook my halo lights up to a switch in my truck?

• I have halo projector lights and I'm wanting to hook the Halo/LED portion of the headlights to a switch in my truck so I can use them when I choose. I was just curious on what fuses I should use, etc. They are wired separate from the headlights themselves so I think I can just wire them up to the cab of the truck, slap on a fuse (which size?!), and hook it to the switch and ground it, etc. Thanks!

  As far as which fuse to use, would be the minimum amount necessary without blowing the fuse. Most lights might use only a 10 amp or 15 amp fuse. Could try 2.5 or 5 amp fuse but might be too small for halo lights. On the same token, you would rather the fuse to blow first before a wire catches fire or the bulb blows out. I would try the 2.5 or 5 amp first to test it...but the 10 or 15 amp should be the target fuse to use. Apparently it didnt come with an inline fuse with it. You can goto an automotive store or walmart and by an inline blade fuse holder to place the fuse in.
