What's the best amp for two "dual" Kenwood KFC-W3012?

Amp/Head Unit Problems. Subwoofer not playing, help?

• I had recently hooked up a sub and amp into my truck and have ran into a problems. I have a sony head unit with two RCA pre outs that i've hooked into it and ran into the amp. The power cable is good at the voltage at the amp is fine and the ground is fine as well. Also, the amp turn on wire is fine, I know i've spliced into the right one (blue/white) as it has a constant voltage source. I can say these are good as the red triangle on my kenwood KAC-9020 AMP will go out and no longer remain lit if the power, ground, or turn on are altered or removed. My problems arises when I plug the rcas into my head unit, I lose the front right speaker and hear no more sound. If i unplug them, My front right speaker goes back. Also, since the sub was not working (brand new) I hooked up an old OEM speaker to my amps speaker outputs to see if the sub was bad and heard only static. My question is: Is my amp bad? (not bought new, given to free from a friend, wouldn't be surprised if bad) and why is that speaker thing going on, whats causing it? Thanks for bearing with all the info, any help is appreciated!!   only two preout rcas? possibly your hooking it up to the front or rear output rather than the subwoofer output. your speaker wires should be into the factory harness so the only reason that could be happening is that your hooking up the rcas into the wrong output. which when you do that it work because no speakers are connected to the amplifier. but in that case i would think words would come out of the subwoofer unless you dont have the gain up loud enough to hear it from the subwoofer but thats beside the point. double check you have the rcas in the right output from subwoofer and nothing for front or rear speakers or full whatever it says for the two preouts.
