What do I hook my amp up to?

My amp no matter what amp i hook up my power fades in and out when i turn it up loud?

  • i had a 1200 w sony amp to 2 sony 10's and they worked fine when i took them out for the winter because they go in a summer car i hooked up a kicker z450.2 amp to it also

Not sure exactly what you are saying, but I would start by checking your ground. Its possible that when you turn it up the amp needs more power, but a bad ground or connection would cause it to not get the power it needs. Check all connections, battery, ground and RCA.
