Why isnt my radio in my car working?

• i have a 1995 VW Jetta. i recently had it worked on because the turn signals werent working, and the speedometer wasnt working at all either. well after working on it for a week, the shop finally gave it back to me. before they worked on it, the radio worked fine, but now it wont even turn on. i see alot of stuff on the internet about it being in safe mode, but i dont think mine is in safe mode, because the display doesnt show anything at all. how can i get it to work again? and ive already checked the fuse for it, and it is in perfect condition.

  I would say double check fuse in and the relay sensor for it. There could be many things wrong with it. Make sure all wires are color coordinated to the right color EXAMPLE - Blue Wire to Blur Wire. If they are all connected make sure there is not a short in the wiring and tape all wires together with black electrical tape. If that still don't work you could take it to best buy and buy a new radio and have them install so you know it works.
