How do I charge a car MP3 Player?

What can you use to play an mp3 in a car?

  • Is there some kind of cable that you can attach to the cigarette socket that has a usb attachment so you can charge your phone or somehow connect an mp3 player to play songs if the car only uses CD's? I have no clue, so some info would be much appreciated.

  • Answer:

If your radio only has a CD player then no way. The radio needs either a cassette player(get a cassette to mp3 adapter) or an AUX jack.

You need to buy a "head unit" that has an auxiliary jack and/or USB port. Just go down to your local car stereo store or Walmart. They'll help you out

If it has an AUX buy an AUX cord. There is a USB plug for the cigarette socket but it's only good charging phones.
