Subs for my truck help?

What is the difference between bazooka-tube subs and enclosure subs?

  • Is one better overall than the other? Can you mount the bazooka subs anywhere? Do the bazooka subs come in 12"+ sizes? Do they have different sounds? I have a '94 Chevy ext. cab fullsize truck with the stock system in it. Any ideas of cool set-ups, etc.? any help or suggestions would help so much.. Thanks..

  • Answer:

An enclosure will give you less hard hitting base rather to a bazooka tub or a ported box. You can mount them down if they come with the side brackets. bazooka tubes come in 8'in up to about 12'in that's the most common. Iv heard a bazooka tube and a bazooka sub and it gives nice clear sound and is responsive. Depending on the sub you put in the bass will be different. You can make your own sealed boxes and put them under you seats if you have time to make them. Depending on how loud you wont to go depends on the subs.
