Car radio won't play after battery jumpstart?
-
My wife has a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. A couple weeks ago her battery died and I gave her car a jumpstart. After the car started her radio and remote trunk opener would not work anymore. I checked the fuses and there is a fuse labeled (20A) Radio Amp & Trunk Release, however the fuse does not seem to be blown. I changed the fuse out with the spare just in case and it also does not work. A friend at work suggested that I leave the car running for an hour for the computer to reset. I am currently doing that now, does anyone have any other suggestions to solve this problem? Any insight would be appreciated. FYI: I know very little about automotive issues so you may have to explain like I'm an idiot. Thanks in advance.

Answer:
Make sure your fuses are fine and I know this might be hard but make sure your wiring is fine
