Were does the remote blue wire connect?

How do I connect the remote wire from my amp to my head unit?

  • When I take my head unit out, I know im suppose to connect my remote to the blue wire because it turns on and off my amp...but how do I do that? Im afraid to pull out the blue wire from my head unit because im afraid it wont go back in....how do I do this? Its the last step I have until my installation is finished! Let me know, thanks alot

    Altima you really need to learn what your are talking about. You need the blue wire with the white stripe on the back of you head unit, wire your remote wire to that. Presto, your amp will turn on. DO NOT just use electrical tape on this. Use a wire connector, like a butt connector. Local auto parts store will have these.

STOP!!!!!!! Please take the blue wire out of your head. First of all your headache will go away. Then you might see clear enough to work the remote. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH… my head is killing me.

you just peal of a bit of the end of the blue wire and connect it to your remote wire with a connector or just wrap them together and wrap them in electrical tape good luck ok " georgew" before you go and try and make other people look bad first learn how to read and pay attention you said the same thing i said stupid just cuz people dont have butt connectors or any of the other materials that are needed like crimpers or volt meters or any other stuff dude you talk to some people like if they are experts or have alot of experiance in this field and what you fail to understand is that if they were they wouldnt be asking stupid!! besides i said to wrap them in electrical tape as a alternative duhh...
