I have an 1996 oldsmoble car i bout a cd player but i can't seem to get it to fit where it goes what can i do

I would mount it under the dash or under the seat. If you have a multiple disks then you can reach down and change them. Or you could put the CD player in the glove box, that way no one will see it. Try going to a local radio shack, they have kits that you can use to install.

More than likely you may have to do some cutting. I really don't advise you to. Whenever you by a radio you should always check to see what size den you have. Sometime you can get a double den radio in a den and 1/2 space. You might just need to buy a kit as well. I really don't have much to go off of being that I don't know exactly what kind of car you have and the size of your radio.

i own a shop and they make an adapter kit that allows you to put it in where the factory one was,it cost about 15 bucks but it will mount in the dash and then the radio you have now will mount in it,and that's all there is to it,good luck hope this helps.
