What is the loudest car speaker?

What's wrong with my car speaker?

  • My left front speaker makes a rattling sound for some reason. My right speaker, which is identical to the left speaker, doesn't rattle. It only rattles with music, if it's just voices, the speaker plays fine. The speaker is well secured to the door, so it's not that.

  • Answer:

You have blown a speaker, Yank the door panel off and pull the speaker, purchase a new one of the same size and replace it. You will be good as new.

replace both speakers with higher wattage, you have blown the speaker thru giving it a hard time, distortion means pain and speakers do not like pain, rule of thumb, if it distorts turn it down. if you replace the speakers and still have a problem look at the speaker grill, they can work loose and vibrate

I agree, it does sound like a blown speaker. Don't just replace one though. Speakers come in pairs for a reason. If you replace just one with a different speaker, the sound will be unbalanced. You will need to replace both of them.

Um, sounds like you blew the speaker.
