How to install a sub in a sub box?

Subwoofer box not exposing Sub ok?

  • I have a new 12" Subwoofer in a box, I want to install it in my car trunk so that it bolts directly into the back of the backseats. Is this ok? Will it damage my Sub? And how will this affect sound quality?

  • Answer:

It will sound better facing towards trunk ... I don't know why but bass goes through car better

I don't know how you would bolt your sub into your back seat? There isn't really a point because you still need the box, if you just take the sub out and put it in your trunk its just gonna sound like crap. A lot of times they make custom boxes for cars if you want a different look...go to crutchfield.com and search there.
