What cars have a really good stereo?

Could I connect my stereo's wiring to my cars wiring?

  • I bought a car that had the radio stolen so it has no harness, so i bought a new stereo. Im wondering if i could just connect the stereo's wiring to the cars wiring without any problems or do i have to buy the reverse harness and the harness.

  • Answer:

A "reverse harness" would have to be removed from a identical car, made from the same plant ( Some manufacturers built some cars in different locations, and they use different wiring colors) I would look up the vehicle on the12Volt.com, and STILL test the connections with a multimeter. Also check the fuse box, as you probably have a blown fuse or two, if the thief cut the harness all at once with metal cutters ( Could wreck Havoc on the electrical, that way...) It's a pian to deal with, but if your ok with electronics, you should be ok... Our shop used to charge $75 an hour, and up for "hard-wiring",depending on how bad it was, which is what you need done now... Good Luck, If I can help at all, lmk :)
