Tom tom doesnt speak?

  • i have a tomtom one-and it doesnt speak and when i go onto settings an click test speak, it still does not speak, but when i switch the tom tom on it makes that little ding dong noise, so wondering what can i do?

Go to the preferences screen and select a voice to use. If it won't let you select one you need to connect it to your pc with TomTomHome and load up a voice from the CD. If it won't let you do this then the fix needs a change to the file system and it's a bit beyond Y! answers; take it to a good dealers or the original supplier
