What kind of speakers should I get for my car?

i know EXACTLY where you're coming from,and i like my music loud too. i tested numerous speakers,and i went with alpines...love em!! nothing outpumps alpines. also,go to onlinecarstereo.com. their prices absolutely cant be beat.

try crutchfield to see what fits. go with reputable brands like boston acoustics, alpine, polk (love these), rockford's are nice. Now you should get something with low power requirements unless u plan on changing the head unit. Honestly, stock, I'd go with polk, boston acoustic, kenwood, and pioneer- all will run well with stock set up as power requirements are rather low. if u want more power u should step up to an amp. but a 4 channel and hook up the front speakers to a two channels then save the other two to bridge to a sub. that's what I did.

the best advise is to buy a reputable brand something like alpine or rockford fosgate. there are many different models of speaker from these brands each will be from a different price range. my personal preference is any Type S series from Alpine. contact your nearest car audio dealer and see if they stock them

you should get a good brand of speaker . fosgate ,kenwood ,alpine and polk give good options you will get a good sound out of both kenwood and alpine for sure ,the alpines are where i would lean towards fosgate has some good stuff but i have had bad results there with cost vs performance. you will get very good bass from JL AUDIO for sub bass
