How do i connect my ipod to my car?

• Hi, i just bought a car, and i want to connect my ipod to my car, but it doesnt have any cassete thingy or the AUX. and im going to FRYS today, and i want to know what ipod kit should i buy? whats the best brand?? PS: i have 2005 c230 sedan. Thanks for ur time!!

  hi cute piggie!!!...;-) im like an electronics nut and stuff...and as a matter of fact i used to sell things like cell phones and ipods and whatnot... anywhoo what you need is an FM transmitter. as far as best brands go, hands down that is Monster Brand. but being that it is a very good brand, it is pricey as well. since you asked for best brand there it is: Monster. (thats wut i use in my 2003 Jeep Liberty. which has no aux jack, my 2008 Ford F-150 does though) cost me like 80 bux or so. but it serves to charge the iPod as well as being an FM transmitter. anyway: heres how an FM transmitter works (monster brand or not..they should all work the same) you find an empty FM station on your radio...empy being that you should hear only static... you then imput or tune to the same channel of the open station on your transmitter...and presto!!! you should be able to hear your iPod through your car speakers!!! you could also just get an iPod ready stereo installed into your car...some nice stereos run as cheap as a hundred bucks and you might even get free install....plus theres lots of iPod ready stereos which allow you to control your actual iPod through the stereos buttons...which means all you have to do is connect your iPod via a $5-$8 1/8 jack (size of the tips on the ends of the cable) stereo cable. hope this helps you!!! ta-ta!!
