How hard is it to install an amp and a sub?

Upgrading Amp and Sub, Suggestions, How to Install?

Right now I have a Rockford Fosgate P200 powering a 12" Kicker Comp. I want to buy a 12" Kicker Comp VR and will obviously need a new amp. I want to buy a Rockford Fosgate or Kicker amp but don't know which ones would be a good choice. I have a seperate amp for my speakers, so this amp only needs to power my one 12 inch Kicker Comp VR (RMS 400/800 Peak). Also, would it be safe to buy a lightly used one off craigslist? After buying, would I be able to install the sub and amp myself, considering the wiring is already done? All I'm doing is switching out the amp and sub. Thanks!
Answer:

The 12" Kicker Comp VR requires 50W - 400W RMS. Therefore, I would recommend a Kicker 350ZX mono block amplifier. I have the same amp pushing two 12" Kicker Comps and it does an excellent job.
