How do I remove the front door panel of a 2001 dodge durango to replace the speakers?

    remove any screws on arm rest or handles, see if anything is clipped into shell.. ie window switches locks, after removing everything you can, gently pry panel , look behind and see where the clips are, be careful when you are popping clips as tghey break often, but a ten pack from the parts store is very cheap.

unscrew the panel and pull off dont forget to unplug the wiring harness for the door locks and windows

I think they pretty much answered the question... you will also need to lift up on the panel... then when putting it back on just align the clips and snap back in place.... put the screws on and put the covers back over where the swrews are. Tip: there are usually some hidden screws.... look for the plastic over them... and use a flat head screwdriver to pop them off... you don't want to make them look ugly by scraping them up using a thick tool... there is sometimes plastic covering the door once you've removed the panel... it's okay to take if off if you need to get the speakers... nothing will happen without it...
