Why are my subs constantly hitting as soon as I turn them on?

When i turn my stereo up in my truck to loud the subs stop hitting is this a rca cable problem?

  • my subs don't hit when my radio is turned up to high

  • Answer:

its not a rca cable problem. if the rca cable was bad it would never work, low or high volume check the ohm load of your subwoofers and your power and ground wiring to the amplifier. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp
