What type of speakers should I get for my car?

  • I recently got a "new" (to me) car from my sister, and the rear speakers absolutely stink. I am just looking for a good set of 6x9 speakers that are relatively inexpensive, like under $75. I probably won't be keeping the car for much longer than a year or two, b/c it won't pass inspection next year because of some body damage if I don't put a little bit of work into it this summer. I was looking at the Sony X-plods. are they good speakers for the price?

these speakers are only good for there price and given your circumstances there are better brands and they are pricey but these Sony's should give you exactly what you want and need

go look at alpine type s speakers on ebay. i like those the best and they should be in your price range
