How to wire 2 subwoofers inverted?

How would you wire (2) 4 ohm single voice coil subwoofers to a 2 channel amp to get a 2ohm load?Even possible?

no it cant be done .you cannot get less resistance than the speaker

It is not possible to wire a single 4 Ohm (single voice coil) woofer to ONE channel of an amplifier and expect it to "act" like it's 2 Ohms. If your amp is MONO bridgeable then you could wire the woofers in parallel and the amp will see a 2 Ohm load. (Your amp MUST be mono bridgeable AND 2 Ohm stable).

If you are able to bridge the amp( take the positive from one ch and the negative from the other..and run the two positives and negatives from the speaker to the amp. that's always how i have done it, but you need to make sure your amp is 2 ohm stable.
