Need help with wiring speakers to amp?

Need help with choosing sub,amp,box,wiring. And recomendations for speakers/components to pull it all together?

• I want to put subs and new speakers in my 99 tahoe, i have a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X395 head unit and two kenwood kfc-w3013ps single voice coil 12" subs. Each sub is 4 ohm 1200 watts peak and 400 rms. i heard somewhere that if i brigded them it would be 2400 peak and 800 rms at 2 ohm? The amp i picked out because its the one that puts out the most ammount of power at a save level for the subs, Power Acoustik CPT1-2000, ported box and 8guage wiring. Any advise, suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. I also want to kno what i need to put new speaker in my tahoe. Could i run them off the same amp?   for an amp i would suggest a mono amp. heres a diagram for wiring http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2SVC_4-ohm_mono.jpg kenwood makes a 900 watts RMS amp @2ohms which would be suitable for both subs. you can get any amp of your choosing just try to get the amp RMS as close to 800 as possible @2ohms. ignore the peak rating. not sure if 8 gauge is a sufficient wiring kit. i could be wrong on that but i would recommend at least a 6 (i would personally use 4 gauge). as far as door speakers...thats all up to you. i would recommend it. since u got 2 subs it would be good to balance the highs out. components preferably. find out what fits ur vehicle. check out infinity reference to keep it cheap or CDT for amazing sound. sound ordinance are great 4 channel amps for speakers and are very cheap (price wise). check em out at crutchfield.com. its there house brand and ive put em in my wifes car. theyre great for the $
