How would I wire my subs and amps?
-
I have 3 alpine 12" type r's and I want to get two HIFONICS BRUTUS BXi1610D 1600W Car Amps, but I am not sure how I would wire it all together. Any suggestions?

Answer:
the Type R's are only rated for 500 watts RMS. so why do you want 3200 watts for 3 woofers that require 500 watts (1500 total). Next why do you want to power 3 amplifiers with 2 amps that aren't strappable? you'd be better off going with 4 woofers for 2 amps. Or just one amp that puts out more power than the 1600D. Hifonics makes one that puts out 3000 watts I think. Finally you didn't tell us whether your woofers are dual 4 ohm or dual 2 ohms. so we can't help you with any wiring at all. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp But if you go to that site you'll be able to check out different wiring configurations based on what you have.
