How good are the Alpine Type E Subwoofers?

Im looking to get 2 12" Alpine Type R Subwoofers.?

  with the alpine pdx 1.1000 it wont matter, it runs 1000rms at both 2 ohms and 4 ohms, which is rare for an amplifier, it is a great amp to power those 2 12" type-r subs 2 ohms or 4 ohms it dont matter, but if you go with the alpine mrp-m000 amp, you would need to get both dual 2 ohm subs and wire them into a single 2 ohm load to get the 1000rms, 500 going to each sub i would get the pdx 1.1000 amp, and then go with 2 dual 4 ohm subs and wire them to a single 4 ohm load but thats my opinion, you could run dual 2 ohm subs on that amp, doesnt matter there wont be a difference in sound or quality or anything if you get 4 ohm or 2 ohms. edit: ______________________________________… honestly, it will not matter what you get, there will not be any difference in sound, there will not be any difference in performance, they will be receiving the same power you could go with 2 dual 4 ohm type r's, incase you ever sell that amp and get another, you could always just wire them into a 1 ohm load from a cheaper amp but wire them @ 4 ohms to the pdx, heres how: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=42 ^^use the second option where it goes to 4 ohms. edit: _____________________________________ it honestly does not matter, there will be NO DIFFERENCE between them, since that amp will give the same power to each do you not get it? it does NOT matter with that amplifier. one wont last more than the other, one wont hit harder than th other, one wont sound better than the other, one wont get louder than the other whatever you can get a cheaper deal on then i guess, make sure their both the same tho
