I have a MTX JH1200 mono block amp and want to get 2 12" L7 subs how do i wire this for a 1 ohm load?
-
And should i get the subs at a Dual 2 or a Dual 4
-
Answer:
If you want to get to a final load of 1 ohm with a pair of L7's, you need the 4 ohm versions. Wire the voice coils in parallel for 2 ohms and then parallel both subs to the amp for 1 ohm.
