Where can I buy the most compatible car audio CD player?

Can i buy any CD player to replace the tape deck in my car ?

    take out the tape deck with a stereo removal tool, (get them from any good car accessory shop) then you will need a cd player ford ka fascia panel (silver, blue, black depending the colour of your dashboard) ford radio harness at the most it should take you 10-15 mins to take out the tape deck and fit the new cd player

Generally aftermarket CD players are "one size fits all", they usually connect up fine without any additional wiring. Buy any one you like :) You might need a fascia to fill in the gaps around the new unit and make it blend in a bit better with the rest of your dash, but these are cheap and readily available. Halfords do them, but you can get them cheaper online or through a car audio store.

You can buy any standard unit that has the facilities you want but will probably need an adapter plate as well (there are a wide range of them at about 8 quid or so each to allow after market radios to replace manufacturers built in ones). Go onto ebay and type in Ford Ka Radio adapter plate. You will find that they have them from 4 pounds to 14 pounds. They are shaped to fit your dash and give a professional finish when installing after market gear.

Go to your local Halfords or look up Car Audio in the yellow pages. They will be able to show you the options available and you will be able to get all that you asked for if you can afford the price.
