If I connect a Hi/Low Adapter to my factory stereo will my factory amp still work?
-
So I want to connect a aftermarket amp & subwoofer. I was thinking of buying a Hi/Low Adapter so I can connect the RCA's from my new amp to my factory stereo which has a factory amp to all the speakers but I was wondering if I do that will my factory amp still work or would I have to rewire everything? If there is a better way to connect an amp & sub to my factory car please let me know.

Answer:
you'll be fine, just dont mess with any of the factory amplifier settings. just splice the hi/low converter into the current speaker wires and it should work.
