How do i get sound on my xbox/monitor?

Cant get any Sound out of my car stereo?

• Hi I have recently purchased (Innovatek 280 CAR DVD MP3 USD SD TV CASETTE PLAYER). I tried installing it into my vehicle and could not get it to function right. The prower turns on but the sound does not work. I am not getting any sound from the Radio, DVD, or CD and the car does have a stock amplifier in the trunk. The car im trying to install it in is a (2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo). It does not have a Bose system or Onstar. I got the correct wiring harness for the car to plug into the Innovatek 280 units harness but cannot recieve any sound at all. But when I pluged the stock head unit stereo back up the sound worked. I many things to try and get sound frome Innovatek 280 but everything I did failed with no sound. At first i couldnt get it to power up and found out i would have to run a wire connected to the ignition to the stereo to power it up. once i finally got that solved i ran into the problem i have now no sound. I know this isn't the best brand stereo and maybe it may be the stereo unit it's self that is not working properly. Maybe there is something else special ill have to do this time.   exchange it, then go to audio shop. pay 30 bucks. be done with it. and the headache.
