I dont know if a Bose system is considered good, i know it is pretty loud. What is a good system to put in there and what is a reasonable price? i dont even know speaker sizes...

Answer:
bose is just about as good as it gets when you talk about loudness and sound quality together. but, if you're ready to shell out some major cash go to your nearest bang & olufsen (spell check) store. they have great eletronics but they are quite expensive. i'm just not sure if they provide car audio, but i think you could have somebody install it in your car if u wanted to.

Just leave it as it is mate. Your Bose stereo is probably worth about £2k plus and it should be loud and good quality already. Also, as it came as stock fit with the car, it's already set up to the best effect for that car

its bose and stock, it cant be that good. if u wanna get a better set up be ready to swap the radio, ull need to get a 4ch amp and swap all the speakersi, starting around $1,000.00 give or take (if installed by urself) add 300.00 more for parts and labor if ur gonna have a professional do it

bose is pretty good. if you want to upgrade, your gona have to spend some money! First of all, check to see how many watts the head unit is. Most likely, you will need to change it, but for a good one. Were talking at least $250 for a decent 45watt Alpine. You can also add amplifiers to the head unit, and that will improve the sound of your bose speakers. If you like BASS, add a subwoofer... but remember, you want quality, so some JL Audio Subs. If your Still looking for more, then swap out the speakers for some better ones. Want GREAT? how about Diamond Audio, JL Audio, Focal, Boston Acoustics, etc. To find these, you will need to find a place that specializes in audio... in the southwest, a good place is Tweeter. check them out at www.tweeter.com to see if they have a store near you. most likely, you will be looking at at least $225 per pair... since you will need COMPONENT SPEAKERS to top the bose. Honestly, if you dont have too much to spend, go to a car audio retailer and ask what you can do to improve the sound... but if you have the $$$, then were looking at about $900 min. for 2 pairs and the Head Unit installed. Oh, and to answer your very first question, YES, bose is a good audio system. For that same reason, its pricey to get a stereo system to top that.
