Why does a PS2 have a USB input?

For those who know a lot about car stereos? I want to know where the USB input is on my car stereo? see pic:?

Its probably on the back, some cd players have a cord that you plug in the back thats a couple feet long so you can have the usb port where ever you like

it is on the back of the head unit. i wouldn't buy it from crutchfield, though. you can find it on sonicelectronix.com for $25 cheaper and it comes with a USB extension cord and installation accessories. good choice, though. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_11103_Pioneer+DEH-P4000UB.html

Click on the Features & Specs tab. It tells you specifically where the USB location is. FYI: As for newer Pioneer head units that has a UB in its model # simply means it has a USB plug option. IB = Ipod Direct. BT? I'm sure you can figure that one out. Good Choice BTW!!!
