How Do I Make My Subwoofer Louder Without An Amp?

  • I Bought A Subwoofer And I Have Hooked Up To My Laptop. It's Not Loud Enough For Me Even At The Highest Volume On My Computer. I Don't Have An Amp To make it Louder. I Tried The Easy Steps Like Putting it In The Corner And All That Easy Bull. I read Somewhere That I need more power to make it louder so I used an AC Adapter to give it a lot of power but nothing happened. So I need a TRICK Or A HACK To make The Speaker Louder Without an amp. Is There Something I Can Modify On The Subwoofer or change? By The Way it's A Normal subwoofer with the two cables at the end that are supposed to go in a stereo or something, don't ask how I hooked it up to my laptop :P

    Take the sub...hold it in front of you...and run around yelling at people...that will make the sub seem like it is loud....subz need ampz....so veddy soddy...but it's true.....

if you want your woofers to be louder your going to have to get a amp bro...

LMMFAO!!! I can see you, sitting there plugging a speaker into a wall...expecting the electricity to SOMEHOW make it sound louder. Buy a cheap home stereo with a high amount of wattage. Run your audio cable from your pc to it, and plug your sub into the stereo. Otherwise, I imagine you'll be driving your car in your living room to hook up the amp. LMMFAO!!!! PS, you've prob. already damaged the sub, so don't worry about the fact that the ohm rating from the stereo doesn't match the sub.

there may be tricks for some other things but not for this. you will need an amp and power supply

amp is the only way that can do the trick checkout my subs hooked to my room wid laptop wid an amp FanOfSubwoofers check them out..
