What would you put together for a SQ system?

What to put in 95 BMW E36 M3 Coupe for sound system?

  • okay so i got a 1995 BMW E36 M3, boosted, 500 hp to the ground. pretty decent, but what i need to know is everything i would need to put a good system together for it. i like kenwood head units, i have always used them. in my saturn i had 3 10 inch mtx sledgehammers in a box with 2 2000 watt amps bridge and with a capacitor. but this car is lightweight, and will hold sound much better. so let me put a list out of what im looking for my budget i would like to keep at 1500 or under for now but suggestions for later will help as well... 1. a single 12 inch, powerful and clean. i want it to be able to push alot of power(wattage) so i can bump in when i feel the vibe lol. 2. according to the sub i would like an amp that works well with it. i would like to be pushing at least 1200 or so to the sub so keep that in mind. 3. i have 1 foot well speaker next to the clutch (on other side as well) and 2 tweeters above it. dont know the size and havent measured but it looks like the foot well speakers are around 4 to 5 inch and the tweeters are 2 inch on top 3 inch below. 4. and finally i have the back deck speakers which im guessing are around 6 1/2 to 6 3/4 inch. its one of the two im sure. i would like it to sound crisp and clean. on my saturn which was 6 and 3/4 i used kenwood excelons for the front and back speakers. in total i see 8 speakers. but just to be sure its a 1995 E36 BMW M3 Coupe. i went onto bavariansoundwerks.com and checked out my car and it says i have 10 speakers... i cant find them all but i also cant get into my back seat at the moment because of the roll cage, the garage is pretty packed and the car is not put together completely yet. if you could explain everything in detail what i should get the parts i would need, i would be very grateful it would make everything so much better! ill even show ya the end results. so thanks for those who reply once again.

A single 12.... For what your trying to do a fi Btl would be ideal or a sundown http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=120842804444&index=15&nav=SEARCH&nid=62736794429 The sundown z3 is an absolute beast You'd need about 1500 rms more or less http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003ZWCWQU/ref=redir_mdp_mobile Sundown amp are some of the best and you could match it bur the price is up there I really like the nano blocks http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_27729_Massive-Audio-N3.html Cea compliant so it's true watts about 320 If you get sundown and nanoblock that's about 800.... which leaves 600 for everything else Kenwood excelon stereo 140-220 Speakers id recommend polk audio or infinity im not sure of your sizes Wiring .... cadence 0 gauge amp kit im amazed at the price and how now the cadence wires are http://www.audiosavings.com/products/0-GaugeAmpkit/Cadence-WK01-0-AWG-Gauge-Complete-Car-Audio-Amplifier-Installation-Wire-Amp-Kit/WK01.aspx 50 dollars A nice box would also be needed With your price range and the having a small car you will be extenly loud
