How do I charge a car MP3 Player?

Connect my MP3 player to Car speaker, possible?

  • Hi, My car mp3 player is stolen by a kid breaking the windows. I am not planning to buy a new player again. Few days ago, a friend of mine suggest me can use a mp3 player to replace a car player, but certainly need some cables to convert signal into card speaker. I have checked on ebay the cable is called Car ISO audio cable. But I still not quite sure which one I am looking for. Please anyone knows car well can tell me, what kind of cables I need to use to connect the mp3 player to my car speaker? Thank you.

  • Answer:

sadly your mp3 player wont really have the power to drive the speackers...radios that have mp3 conection plug utilises its own amplifier to boost the mp3 ....

Just buy a cheap car stereo with an input socket on the front, then you just need a lead from the headphone output of the MP3 to the car stereo. An MP3 player will not power car speakers directly as it will be too quiet

NO you can't just connect your MP3 direct to car speakers.
