Can I have two speakers running from the one channel on a amp?
-
I was wondering if I am able to get two 6x9's and put the the - and + together and having them run off the same channel on my amp? The little amp i have is a analog or something, i use to have 2 subs running off it but for awhile had one and was wondering if I'm able to use 2 speakers in the same channel? If i'm making some sense

Answer:
You can as long as the amp can handle the ohms. If the speakers are 4ohm speakers you should be fine if you have a 4ohm amp. if you have a 2 ohm amp, you will need to run the speakers in parallel to drop the ohms
