Can you tell me what amp wiring i should use for a 1500 watt amp?

Can you tell me what amp wiring i should use for a 1500 watt amp? ok for a boss ar 1500 watt amp can you use an 8 guage wiring kit? because on amazon.com it said frequently bought together with a 2 12inch 1100 watt subs and a 1500 watt amp with the 8 guage amp and i didnt think that 8 gauges were good enough for a 1500 watt amp. do u know what gauge wiring is correct?

boss is one of the many "budget" brands that makes a habit of advertising completely bogus peak ratings. The AR1500M's actual power output is nowhere near 1500w rms. According to the manual it uses a single 30A fuse so it's actual power output can't be much more than 300w rms. An 8 awg kit would be more than adequate for that.
