My amp is producing a high pitched sound, how can i fix it?
-
My amp is a kenwood KAC-9105D, it is hooked up to a 15' kicker L7, the wires and everything look fine. I am using the same wires with my old amp and it never produced a high pitched sound.

Answer:
this could be several things start by looking at how tightly each wire is held in this can cause feedback if 2 positive (powered wires) touch or any wires are not tight it could also be the wires themselves getting feedback from the environment check for splits especially on the rca cables as these are the cables that send the audio from the head unit to amp and are very sensitive to external noise so any small split can cause issues, if none of that works i would return the amp and get a new ones as you might have gotten a defective one
