How Many Watts Is A 1998 Ford Expiditions Stock Amplifier?

  • I have a 4-door 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer and I have a nice system picked out, but now all I need is an amplifier and I don't know what specs to look at or how the amps work with the different channels and the ohms. The subs I picked out are Kicker Car Audio 4 Dual 12" Vented Sub Enclosure Loaded with Solo-Baric L5 Subwoofers 2400 Watts http://www.cardiscountstereos.com/catalog%20page.asp?Product+%23=08DS12L54 and the speakers I'm getting are 4 Pyramid 5x7/6x8" 3-Way Triaxial Speakers 300 Watts each http://www.cardiscountstereos.com/catalog%20page.asp?Product+%23=5791 Using these could someone please tell me what specs to look for in an amp, or provide an amp that could hold this w/o maxing it out and blowing the power circuit in it because I would like to have it last.
