Best setup for my car sub?

Looking to buy new sub setup for my car?

  • im looking for the loudest setup i can get, but i dont have that much money at the moment (looking to spend around $500). my friend offered to sell me his setup, 2 12" fusion encounter subs in a ported box with an 800 watt amp (not sure the specifics on the amp), an alpine head unit and a 12 disc cd changer for about $450. should i take him up on it, or go for something else?

    I would see if he will sell you just the HU and changer. Fusion is a low end brand. The amp probably is too.
