Subs and Amp for a car?

Car audio. Want to make sure I hooked up my subs correctly to my mono amp.?

• I bought 2 10" Memphis dual voice coil subs. I bought a Memphis 600x1 mono amp for them. This is how I hooked it all up. Amp has two spots to hook wires (like channels). I chose one. Used a one pair wire from one channel to one sub box hook up location. From there I went positive to negative on the speaker then positive to positive terminal on sub box hook up. Then hooked negative to sub box negative. Did this for both speakers. On the outside of the box I jumped positive connection to positive connection and then landed the positive from the amp in that terminal. So there are two wires in that amp/sub box terminal. Basically I jumped them on the outside of the box on purpose because box is hidden. I did the same for negative. I hooked them up in parallel so I could get the 2ohm load. Now this is what I have.... This is what I'm wondering...did I hook up to the amp correctly? I know I have speakers correct. They sound good, I just want to make sure I'm not running below my 2ohms on the amp. If I run only one pair of wires off of amp, it saves me $10 in the good wire I bought vs running two separate runs. Thanks for your time.

If you dont have the manual for the amp, hit memphis' website or search online for it and it'll be in there for sure, wiring diagrams are usually in the back of the manuals good luck
