What is the best amp for 2 kenwoods KFCW3012?

What kind and how powerful of an amp should I get to power my Kenwood Excelon KFC-X170 6.5 speakers?

• I have these speakers in the front kick panels of my doors. They are running off of a Pioneer DEH-P6800MP head unit. I have 2 JL audio VR 6x9's in the back running off of a 200 watt Rockford amp. The VR's sound great but it sounds to me like the Kenwoods aren't giving me all they can and I think it's because they're just running off of the head unit. I don't want to get one big amp to run everything because I can't afford one. I was thinking about just getting a small, maybe 60 watt amp. Is that enough, too much, or should I not amp them at all?   Go buy a four channel amp and hook all the speakers up to it. don't buy a rockford amp though... they suck... then just keep the other amp you have so you have something to power a couple of subs if you want to add them in later. you should buy something like a 400w amp... 100x4... those speakers in reality cannot even handle that much. for a rule of thumb when you see 100w speakers that means they can handle 100w just before they expolde. and when you see a 400w amp you are really buying a 200w. the RMS is 200w and the 400w is just before it explodes. thats how they get away with it. so 50w RMS should be fine for those 4 speakers
