Car speakers stopped working on drivers side! any ideas?

Why did all the right side speakers in my car stop working?

  • there polk db570s and they just stopped working out of no where. and its not all of them just the 2 on the right. I dont think there blown cuz if they were theyd play but theyd just crackle, is it a fuse? please help me out here, thanks

    Sounds like there could be an issue with the source rather than the speakers. Try switching out the CD player/IPod etc and seeing if you still have the same problem just to check.

Are you using an aftermarket amp? If you are then check the RCA cables from your head unit to the amp. If you are using the stock amp (if there is one in the vehicle) then check the wiring to the amp and from the deck. Also check the fade, and speaker cables. Good luck
