How do I hook up my pioneer dvd player?

Can you hook up a portable dvd player to a pioneer DEH-P2000? HOW?

  • my husband has his amp hooked up too. you either get just the DVD sound, which is hard to hear or you get loud sound thru the amp & he wants to be able to hear it thru the radio speakers. any suggestions

  • Answer:

You cant hook up a dvd player's audio cables were you connect the amp. because the amp is connected to an output (sends out signals). and you're looking for an input (recieves signals). You want you're head unit to recieve the audio from the dvd player so that it will send out the audio to the amp, then to the speakers. To do this you just need to connect the dvd players audio cables to an input on the head unit. If you dont have an input, than im sure that there are adaptors for that but i would just buy a new head unit that has an aux input (extra input for whatever)

pioneer cd-rb10 aux input adapter might work if you don't have a changer or try a rf modulator
