What outdoor speakers should I buy?

What is the best cheap replacement car speakers I can buy?

  • I just want to replace my factory speakers in my 94 Accord and was looking for something cheap. I found some good deals on some Pyle Audio and Pyramids speakers and was wondering which is better. I can get all four of my speakers 2 6.5" for the front and 2 6x9 on the back for under $50 and they are 3-way speakers. I heard of the brand before, but can't find any reviews or more info from poeple who used it and liked it. I also was wondering if I can put a 2 way speakers in the front and a 3-way in the back if that would be ok? Thanks

In this site you can find very cheap speakers of good quality, also if you 're replacing the speakers why don't you replace the head unit??? is better to have a good unit with decent speakers, it will sound much better trust me. go to http://www.crutchfield.com http://www.ebay.com http://www.cardomain.com

Pyle and Pyramid aren't the best brands but they are probably better then the 13 yr old stock speakers you have in there now. Plus your are getting a good deal for them. If you don't like them you won't feel so bad about replacing them because you didn't pay much for them anyway so go for it. Fitting them for your car is a different story. The 6x9's would most likely fit but the 6.5's for the front are a little more tricky. www.crutchfield.com or www.cardomain.com are good sites to research how big and deep your speaker openings are.

Go to your local pull a part or salvage yard and take the speakers out of a wrecked car that's about as cheap as you will get. You may get lucky and find a good deck and speakers.

Wal-mart has some Durabrand ones for under $10 a pop.

The cheapest would most likely be origional factory speakers...i tried to google it but couldnt pull anything up...but I know there are companies that sell origional factory speakers (not necessarily used)

Both of those are off-brands, but for $50 its probably not that bad. I probably wouldn't blow the money on them, but thats just my opinion. I like pioneer speakers, they are really cheap (comparatively speaking) and the quality is spot on. you can check ebay, lots of good deals there, and self install really isn't that difficult. There is no problem with putting 2-ways in the front and 3-ways in the rear, although you might consider putting the 3-ways in the spots that you hear the best from, which could be front or rear, i dont know about your car (use your cars balance and fade features to figure this out). Overall, I would recommend getting some reputable name brand speakers such as pioneer, alpine, kenwood etc. (i personnaly recommend against rockford fosgate). You will notice the difference between the name brands and off brands in sound quality, and if you don't notice that then you will definitely notice in build quality and lifespan of the speakers, my pioneers have lasted me 6+ years (so far) when the stock speakers blew in the first year. Get a crutchfeild catalog, there is TONS of info in there about speaker build quality, sound quality, etc. And you can buy stuff out of it too and fairly decent prices and they provide install kits.

Hi there cructhfield has alot of replacement speakers to choose from detailed car guide that shows you what fits and what dont. That your call on those speakers but normally if your going to buy cheap there going to sound cheap. You can buy a good pair of polk, infinity, alpine, pioneer, kenwood. I would stay away from pyle and pyramids depending on what kind of head unit or receiver you have in your car. I had 6.5 infinity with moveable tweeters and 6x9 polks just ran through the head unit sounded awesome even hooked up the 6x9 polk to a 2channel mtx amp. So you might want to think about it go to a car audio store listen to different speakers with them amplified and not. Because at 1 point you might want a 4 channel amp. If your budget allows it get a better name brand. Hope this helps reply what watts are all the speakers and if you have a factory or aftermarket head unit.
