Answer:
Could be a Manufacturer defect. I would call Kenwood to correct the problem. They shouldn't charge you a penny cause you just bought it a couple months ago. But you need to have your receipt! they may give you the number for a local Kenwood authorized repair facility. You probably will just have to take it in for a check up. We have a high end receiver and thats what we had to do. Come to find out, the receiver was made wrong, according to our local authorized Pioneer repair facility. Call Kenwood now, don;t delay, but again, be sure to have your original receipt or this wont help unless you can get a replacement receipt from the vendor. Good Luck

If you bridged one channel, you could be overpowering the amp and it will kick off for a moment and then come back on. You may want to put each 12 inch on their own channel and then get another amp for your surround speakers. Just a suggestion. Also should look to changing some setting on the amp. Maybe turn down something that may be too high for the amp to handle.

your not getting enough electricity to the amp for it to be that loud maybe you need a new battery for your car

Did you upgrade the 3 big wires underneath the hood? Battery ground to chassis Battery ground to engine block Battery positive to alternator (careful - often times it is routed thru the under hood fuse block)

you are overloading the amp. most amps have automatic shut offs as a safety precaution. either buy a stronger amp or dont crank up the music so much.

ok ive owned that same exact amp its rated at 900 rms and 1800 peak 2 ohms. you need to lower yor gain half way and your sensivity to about half way. now in no way im trying to be mean or rude but that amp is cheap and it clips just like all cheap amps. Kenwood is famous for clipping the best power you will get is maybe 300-400 watts on a 4 ohm load and it will not clip its not really stable at 2 or 1 ohm its false advertisement. a good amp for those subs for a decent price is a rockford punch 300.1 ive owned the same setup it says 300 watts at 4 ohms and 426 watts at 2 ohms. it bangs hard it hitting at least like 500 watts. i know your pain now i own a kicker zx 1500.1 i was buying cheap amps and wasting all my money buy a amp with more power than you need so it wont clip and you dont have to turn it up all way up.
